Quote:X-MEN: SWORD OF THE BRADDOCKS Written by CHRIS CLAREMONT Penciled by SCOTT CLARK Cover by ALEX GARNER Before she can come home to the X-Men, Betsy Braddock has one final mission—settle the score once and for all with the man who’s been hunting her across the multiverse. If she hopes to survive, Psylocke’s going to have to use every weapon at her disposal----and possibly cross a line no X-Man ever has before… |
|

Sounds interesting folks! Wahey, she's DEFINITELY coming home to the x-men!

Nice. Love the cover. Hopefully I'll love the story, too.

I hope this means Betsy's really rejoining the main cast and not simply returning to 616 Limbo. With the status of the books now and how so many of the casts are fluid and revolving, it seems natural that she'd find an easy place among old friends. Dazzler, Rogue, Betsy and Storm for mini-Aussie reunion!!!

Sounds / look awesome! At last, Betsy might be coming back to Earth-616 and get rid of that Slaymaster threat in the process. What more could we all ask for? With a whole book to focus on her, let's give Claremont one final chance of properly sending Betsy off to other young guns - I want her in the Astonishing team.

I'm pretty sure the blurb is hinting at slaymaster, who has been killing alternate Psylockes in exiles.

Somebody got their question answered on x-position:
Quote:Let’s move on to Giselle who’s been wondering about a certain purple-haired ninja:
Marvel has announced that Psylocke is returning to the main Marvel Universe at the Diamond Retailer Summit months ago and Joe Quesada confirmed it in his MyCup Of Joe column, but so far, we haven't heard anything about her return. In which book will she star? Any hints for future storylines for Betsy? We're dying without any news!
Pages from "Manifest Destiny" LOWE: Come on, Giselle, you think we’re just going to cough up that announcement in an interview? Trust us, you’ll know when she’s coming. And it’s going to be hella big. Oh, wait, John wants to add something.
BARBER: Axel is a big Psylocke fan. He’s been wanting to get her into the book for a long time, and this storyline has been planned out for a while. It’s going to be great when it happens… |
|
Has anyone read anything by Axel Alonso? I'm glad another writer likes Psylocke! This sounds well interesting! Although i feel like i've been waiting for Psylocke to come back for years.

Quote:UNCANNY X-MEN #508 & #509 Written by MATT FRACTION Pencils & Covers by GREG LAND Uncanny X-Men #508 Wolverine Art Appreciation Variant by LAURA MARTIN The X-Men get up to the delicate art of living as the Sisterhood plan their imminent demise. The Science Team gets to work, trying very hard not to kill one another first. Simon Trask gains traction in the California state legislature, muscling PROPOSITION X to an emergency ballot vote. If it passes, mutants past and present, powered and otherwise, won't be allowed to breed... all this and a friend returns as a foe and ready for murder. Oh, things are getting ugly. |

Psylocke as a foe? Would make sense why we could get angry at Fraction, but it sounds promising. April seems so far away!

Oooooooooooooooooh how cool is this gonna be!
Do you think Psylocke might end up being one of the Sisterhood? Dunno how this can happen seeing as she cant be mind possessed, But it would be bloody cool!
Wow a comic with Lady Mastermind, Lady Deathstrike, Madelyne Pryor, Emma Frost, Spiral AND Betsy! thats AWESOME!
I hope Psylocke gives Cyclops and Emma some beatings, I really like both characters but they have been behaving a bit dodgy lately the way they have been treating Xavier and Colossus. Emma traipsing in and out of Cyclops head whenever she pleases seems really weird too.
Wish Greg Land would start drawing Pixie at the age she is supposed to be she's like 12 or 13!
