I honestly blame Claremont, seeing as many fans of the series just gave up during his run.
I hope we get to see Blink in 616 some time in the future.

Nooooooooooooo!!!!

The latest Exiles series resembled the original exiles series that I loved so much. It is one of the titles I really look forward to each month. cry

*sigh* It's like having Farscape canceled all over again.....

Claremont is likely why no one picked up Exiles, but I don't think the blame lies squarely with him. They should have waited. A year maybe. Or two. Give people time to forgive and forget. Sometimes, Marvel infuriates me with their series practices; the moment I saw the new Exiles but I was like 'cool, but already?' with a sort of.... feeling of dread. Seems I wasn't alone.
