Psylocke #1 was a great lead in and full of awesome little character moments. You also got to see her interact with Dazzler, Cyclops, and Wolverine in ways that respected all of the characters. Also, did anyone else notice that White-Betsy's breasts were awfully perky for a corpse. Maybe she had implants.

I totally forgot how expensive comics were, but i made an exception for this one!
Pretty good, loved the inside art. The Finch covers don't appeal to me as much, but Tolibao can draw a good story. I really loved the line about the passport renewal. Was a very good start to the series! Recommend!

Haven't been around for a while...
I'm glad to see Betsy actually stepping up to the plate and getting some solo action in for the first time since...well, ever.
I haven't actually read this yet, but the fact that I've already heard rumors that the butterfly effect (and therefore, her telepathy in all its versatile glory!) is making a long-awaited comeback. That alone gives me plenty of incentive.
Now I just have to cross my fingers that she won't get stabbed, power-swapped, body-swapped, eviscerated, blinded, brainwashed, or depowered again. *pants for breath*

Hi Guys! Anyone home? I'm enjoying the first issue. How I long for another writer to take over Psylocke and I think Yost is the right man for the job. I like Betsy to return to her bad-assness and she is her in this issue. The art is great. I'm loving it. What are your reactions guys?

Thanks InnerPsylocke.
I'm just worried cause the whole hand body swap thing wound up becoming complicated for most & I think it turns some writers & readers away from the character. This mini could make it worse or who knows it could make it something new & entertaining.

ooh Acyid I like your little psylocke graphic. Who knows what Matsuo wants, maybe he wants Kwannon's original body for sexual reasons? Would they do something like that in a mainstream comic? Hopefully not, but I wonder what he could want to make her want to want revenge so badly...maybe he'll burn her old body, so that nobody could revive it again...maybe Betsy doesnt want her body cremated...I'm anxiously waiting, its like 3 weeks away before they release it right?

The preview artwork I've seen reminds me of a soft take on Peter Chung. I keep picturing Matsuo turning into Trevor Goodchild.
Other than that does anyone else wonder what Matsuo could want the old body for? The most obvious thing(too obvious imo) would be to reconstitute it & put Kwannon back into it. Other than that I can't really picture what they would want with a body that's recently had half of it's face blown off.
Or it could all be a ploy to get Betsy back under hand control.
Thoughts?
