A New Age of Apocalypse

Hey, happy new year everybody!! I've found this from Comics Books Resource and decided to share here (don't know if you've already heard of it, but...here it goes), 'cause I think might have a chance of a Betsy appearance, the citation was: I understand the previously mentioned "Age Of Apocalypse" books will have new original material - and there will be a new 10th anniversary spinoff series from Chris Bachalo, who has already drawn the first two issues. In the Uncannyxmen.net, I could check that it seems like the Exiles are involved and they will have to kill the X-Men in that reality, what explain some things, like the real intention of the Time "Corrector" (I don't know his name in the original series), who seems to be training the Exiles for a ultimate goal...
Well, I think everyone who read the Age of Apocalypse and knew a bit about the X-Men asked what happened to Betsy... So, I really think she might have a role this time.

Last time i heard the reason was because she wasnt deemed fit to survive. I thought it was because the writers didnt really want her to be in it.

Not fit to survive? *WTF* How could writers just judge a fictional character, "Oh she'd probably die so let's say she couldn't make it." How ignorant is that..
Hopefully she will appear and it's not just a "yeah maybe she'll come out this time."

Psylocke was in the age of apocalypse in comic angel she was warren's girlfriend (who ran a nightclub) and was spying on apocalypse and his higher ups in his city.
She was british and just a telepath to cut a long story short she got found out by shaw (chief of police in AOA) and famok ( a living breathing shadowking or i am not mistaken who was an assistant telepath to shaw) and died under interrogation refusing to give any information to them.

That was Karma.
But yeah, if Brian Braddock never became Captain Britain, that it's pretty easy to say Betsy never became a STRIKE agent. Which means she'd be just an untrained young telepath.
Since Xavier wasnt around any longer to keep the Shadow King at bay, he was undeniably the most powerful telepath on the planet. Apocalypse, knowing that telepaths could possibly be his one downfall, employed Farouk and had him systematically seek out telepaths and either convert them, kill them or bring them into his brain trust. That's why Forge was so adamant about Nate Grey keeping his powers in check, and Emma had a partial lobotomy.
So it stands to reason that Betsy simply died or was put into the brain trust. Kinda sad, but it's very logical. Technically, Betsy registers higher on the telepath scale than Jean, especially pre-Phoenix, and since she was never trained by the Professor, she wouldnt register very high at all.

Well, in the previous age of appocolypse she would have been lobotomized like Emma was. I don't recall if she's mentioned in previouls AoA,b ut I know that some telepaths escaped by having that part of their brain removed. ::scrounges around in my AoA collection:: but I can't wait to see what they come up with in the new series.

I hope they show her a little there, she didn't deserve to get the shaft the first time around.

By the way, does every comic get shifted into the AoA? Because it would suck UNBELIEVABLY if they bring back betsy and then not use her.

No, this is an AoA event on it's own. It has nothing to do with the mainstream comic line.
And Blink-- Warren's 'girlfriend' in Aoa was not Betsy. That was Karma.

Yeah, I think that the main asumption is that she was put in the brain machine and that that is the reason why her brother was so hellbent on going to war with the Apocalypse-state.
